Robert A. Shipley has 47 years of first chair litigation and trial experience representing businesses, general and trade contractors, design professionals and insurers. A recognized problem solver and solution provider, Bob concentrates his practice in complex business litigation, construction litigation, construction defect, insurance, professional liability, tort litigation and general business counseling. A seasoned trial attorney with extensive litigation, trial and appellate experience, Bob also handles arbitrations and mediations, including frequent appointments as a neutral in construction, consumer and commercial matters, as well as being retained as an expert in business disputes.

Outside of the practice, Bob enjoys his passion for live music, theater, reading and exploring Chicago. Bob is an active member of the East Bank Club as well as an avid walker and casual runner. He will often be found in Cleveland visiting his grandchildren. He is a tutor with Lend a Hand and participates in other volunteer activities throughout the year.
